Dr. Baratham moved to Kansas City in 2000, after her medical training in Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, one of the distinguished medical schools in India. She finished her Internal Medicine training at the University of Kansas and worked as a hospitalist at the University for a year before proceeding to complete a three-year fellowship in Rheumatology, Allergy and Immunology.

Dr. Baratham treats a variety of adult rheumatic and allergic conditions. Her key interests include treating inflammatory arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, gout, asthma and allergic rhinitis.
