Raised in Wichita, KS, Dr. David Weidensaul received both his undergraduate and medical school training at the University of Kansas before completing an internship and residency program at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita. He practiced General Internal Medicine for 14 years at the Hutchinson Clinic in Hutchinson, KS. Desiring additional training to further his professional goals, Dr. Weidensaul then went to the University of Missouri Medical School for fellowship training in the specialty of Rheumatology. He has practiced Rheumatology in Hutchinson for an additional 10 years before joining Drs. Anderson and Shaver at ARCK back in Wichita again! Dr. Weidensaul is board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology, a member of the American College of Rheumatology, and has been named a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. He actively supports the local chapter of the Arthritis Foundation as a frequent speaker at medical symposiums. Dr. Weidensaul's goal in medicine remains to be able to provide prompt accurate medical care to Kansans with arthritic conditions.
